The physical geographic features that have helped the development of the U.S. are plains, lake, the ocean coasts, and rivers. The plains supported agriculture, the lake, oceans and rivers also supported farming, but also trading and transportation.
What physical geographic features have aided the development of Vietnam?
Mostly the plains and it's location with the river supported greatly in the field of agriculture. Farming was very important to Vietnam and is it still today. Rural areas in Vietnam today still make the most income out of agriculture. The Mekong Delta also play a great role in farming at Vietnam.

Migration and Immigration
This picture is on Duong Ba Trac street, there are a lot of Chinese immigrants here, so the houses and shops here are very China-like (usually with Chinese on it). The restaurants here mostly sell Chinese food, also.
This "Chung Cu Khanh Hoi" (on Ben Van Don street) apartment area are very crowded, but are 90% all foreigners from the U.S. and some from Europe. The area is more westernized than the places surrounding it, so I think this place is also an affected area.
This place is on 9A street, it has A LOT of banks and apartments, (and a lot of cars), there are Westerners living here. So it is kind of similar to the Apartment area above.

S.S. Rap Lyrics
I'll post the song if I ever find a way to upload music... =]]
Written
In The Sky
[Chorus]
Oh, written in the
sky, a thousand miles away
A message on the
rain. Oh…
Seasons come and go
But cycles never
change
And it’s on today.
[Verse 2]
Let's go. Yeah, you're
listening now
They say they ain't
heard nothing like this in a while
That's why they say
it rain on so many different town.
And they know it’s
water, when it falls back down
From ocean below,
Comes vapor, behold.
Rise high, ya know
Up, straight, and curve.
Water, evaporates.
Condenses then precipitate.
This repeats everyday.
Everyday like it’s on replay.
Man, them rain falls
down, and they hit the ground.
When they falls
down, what you know now?
They go underground, under water town.
They go underground, under water town.
Going straight to
the sea, passing through all the bounds.
So down to Earth
Surface run-off
If this sounds bad
go ahead, turn it off
Rain clears, after
that you never know
Look back up, maybe
you’ll see rainbows.
[Chorus]
Oh, written in the
sky, a thousand miles away
A message on the
rain. Oh…
Seasons come and go
But cycles never
change
And it’s on today.
[Verse 2]
Yeah I needed a
change
After I fall so
fast, of course I need a break
That’s why rain
infiltrates never went astray
They say underground
paths, is the harder way
But it’s good to me,
and it makes my day
Ask other rain do
they have what it take? Mate,
Now even they’re
amazed, great.
It feels like a long
time coming, down
Since the day I
thought of that running, plan
And I was going somewhere,
running miles,
I knew that maybe
someday I would understand
That I would discharge,
and end it, grand.
That's why I keep running in circles.
This never-ending loop, water cycle.
That's why I keep running in circles.
This never-ending loop, water cycle.
[Chorus]
Oh, written in the
sky, a thousand miles away
A message on the
rain. Oh…
Seasons come and go
But cycles never
change
And it’s on today.

First S.S. Assignment
1.) What you did over summer? 2.) What are you most/least looking forward to this year in Social Studies?
Over the summer, the only time I left Ho Chi Minh City was to go for a 3-days trip in Nha Trang. It was pretty fun because I had a friend who lives there to guide me around and other things. I started learning tennis over the summer, but I also went swimming once every 2 days. Through the whole summer vacation, I only went to the cinema once and the movie I watched was "Captain America", which was really interesting although I never read the comics.
I look forward to learning about all kind of things in Social Studies this year, however, if there was one I would be most interested in, it would probably be Current Events, since I'd like to know more about things happening around the world. I can't really think of anything I least look forward to in Social Studies this year, so I guess if I ever think of one I'll edit this post.
